Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of coaching do you offer?
My coaching is a blend of creative mentoring, reflective conversation, and practical support. Together we explore what you’re longing to create (a project, practice, or shift in your work or life) and build the mindset, structures, and confidence to bring it to life. I draw from mindfulness, creative process, systems thinking, and neurodivergent-friendly tools.
Is this coaching for me?
It might be, if you’re someone who:
Has ideas, dreams, or creative projects that feel stuck, overwhelming, or half-formed.
Cares deeply about the world and wants to contribute to change in a way that feels sustainable.
Is rebuilding trust in your creativity after burnout or self-doubt.
If you’re unsure, we can always have an initial chat to explore whether this feels like the right space for you.
How is this different from therapy or consulting?
Therapy often focuses on healing the past, while consulting tends to offer direct expert solutions. My coaching sits somewhere in between - future-oriented, creative, and relational. We focus on what’s alive right now and what you’re building next, using reflective tools and creative exercises rather than fixed answers.
What does a session look like?
Each session lasts around 60 minutes and flows depending on what you bring. We might begin with a grounding exercise, move into reflective conversation, and then explore creative or strategic tools - such as mapping an idea, reframing a block, or planning gentle next steps. Sessions are collaborative, intuitive, and spacious.
How many sessions do people usually book?
Some people come for a one-off session to clarify a project or idea; others prefer a series of 4–6 sessions to go deeper. We’ll decide together what rhythm makes sense for your goals, time, and resources.
How much does it cost?
I use a sliding scale so that access isn’t determined by income. Those with more financial resources help make it possible for others to access the work at a lower rate. You can find prices on my coaching page here.
I’m neurodivergent / disabled / experience mental health challenges. Will this space work for me?
Absolutely - I design my sessions with flexibility, sensory awareness, and access needs in mind. We can adapt things like pacing, format (video off, shorter breaks, etc.), and tools to support your comfort and focus. You don’t have to mask or over-perform in our work together.
What happens if I don’t know what I want to work on yet?
That’s completely okay. There’s often a lot of depth to simply feeling the desire to work with someone on your creativity - even before you know exactly what shape that might take. In your taster session, we can explore what might be beneath the surface and see if there’s a thread we could work on together. If it turns out there isn’t quite enough there right now, I’ll be honest about that, and you’ll likely sense it too. Either way, our first conversation will help bring more clarity to where you are and what might come next.
