Threads of Tomorrow
What if the future wasn’t something distant, but something we could begin weaving right now?
This gathering is an invitation into collective imagining - to observe, question and, re-create the very paradigms that hold our realities in place.
The collective imagination is the shared pool of ideas, images, myths and visions. It's the place where a multitude of realities and worlds exist - a shared terrain of possibility. Yet for too long, this place has been dominated by the privileged few.
This session is for us to explore the questions: What if we reclaimed the collective imagination? What does that look like in practise?
The systems we live inside are upheld not only by governments and institutions, but by the subtle architecture of everyday life: the words we use, the roles we inhabit, the stories we pass on etc. These threads, woven together, form the collective quilt of consciousness that defines what feels possible.
In this session, we’ll explore:
How to recognise the invisible architectures shaping our realities
What it takes to create fertile ground for new realities to grow
How small actions, words, and gestures, can contribute to the collective imagination
There will be a mix of practices to envision and explore together, including movement, group discussion, and some creative practise.
